    The attached URL exposes a really serious Win XP Vulnerability which could result in files being wiped from your hard drive simply by clicking a url or receiving a html file. You need to simply rename a file to deactivate this "Feature" but you need to check regularly to make sure it hasn't been reactivated.

    Just got home and tried it by sending a link to #2son who uses XP.....It sure clobbered a test directory we set up......

    Thnx Wiggo....I did ry to send it in as news about 20 minutes before I posted it in the forum but the bloody firewall at work here stopped it and I got a mailer deamon message saying no delivery......had limited time so I posted it.....glad people are reading and hopefully doing something about it because it is so simple to exploit (sheesh if I cant do it anyone can)
