Guys with all the problems I have been reading about .. and all the hassles in installing SP1 and having to change keys .. is it really worth the effort of installing SP1 ?

yes, it does fix a lot of bugs, some you won't even know about.
seen the list if fixes and was surprised how many there were.

it realy is worth the trouble, I think.

    Yes and no.

No I would not apply it to a "well used" os install.

Yes I would install it onto a "clean" os install however. :thumb:

And if that is the case then prepare for a clean install then as that's the only good way to put a Service Pack in properly and without all the problems. :smokin:

disable it manually after all if you cant follow these simple instructions you shouldnt be here

    Easy Fix(es)

    1. Delete or Rename the file: "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\System\DFS\uplddrvinf o.htm"

    2. Find and Remove the following code from "uplddrvinfo.htm"

    3. Use a browser other than IE

all i did was took it into word saved it as uplddrvinfo.doc instead and deleted uplddrvinfo.html job done no prob dont need no service patch 2 do that ffs

anyway it affects ie so dont you think the ie update sorts that not sp1 and that update goes into any computer legit or otherwise

methinks its just uncle bills mob trying 2 frighten pple

also if they stop pple without sp1 from updating it will go against pple like me that have a legit copy and dont want 2 install sp 1 cause it screws my system.
