I recently purchased Soul Reaver 2 and installed it. When I try to play it loads the 1st screen then goes blank.

Yes I know eidos Doesnt support it under windows XP PRO but I was hoping one of the talented individuals of this community could help me make it work.

The site makes reference to scenarios where it has worked on some systems but is none the less unsupported and is microsoft's responsability.

Oh and yes I have tried the compatability tab options under properties on the shortcut.

Any one able to help me?

have you ever got it to work before on another OS, or on someone else's machine?

Seem to be about a year & half late, BUT, i got your fix.

Couldn't wait to get to the store to buy Legacy of Kain Defiance,
so, spent the entire night (midnight to 8) fighting with install of
LoK Soul Reaver on XP Pro. Around 5 am searched for old 1.2
OEM patch and at 7:45 i hit the Lost World motherload.

The guy is an IT systems engineer that created an 2000/XP
patch cuz he could no longer play his favorite game. His site
is more dedicated to the history/faqs of Soul Reaver than Eidos.

Get your Raziel XP patch Here
