Hi Guys. Second request for help on this one.
After installing SP-1 for Windows XP my Floppy A drive is comtinually activated. I have to put in a blank floppy to stop it from running. What can I do to stop this short of disabling it.

I never heard of such a thing. I don't think there is anything you can do other then disable it. Maybe there is something wrong with its drive since SP1? Did you try removing it and let windows resinsatll it?

This is indeed a wierd one. This is a straight up guess, but take the disk out, and when Windows starts thrashing the drive again, go to my computer, right click on the drive, select properties. Windows should pop up a message telling you to put a disk in. Click cancel and see if Windows quits looking to the drive.
