I happen to agree with Akimbo. These large companies are doing nothing but sucking the hell out of everyone, leaving the rich richer and the poor poorer...no such thing as f@#%ing Robin Hood anymore...

They dont care how much they have to charge for a product or how much they are ripping billions of people off, all they give a **** about is their money, just like every other jerkoff on the bus. I say F@#% 'EM! and pirate every piece of software you can get, and put a stop to these f@#%ing reptiods....

People seem to confuse the right to be free with the right to everything for free. One is unquestionable, the other unsustainable.

Thats what corporate corruption is, an "unsustainable" operation,
and yes everything should be for free...ever heard of Nikola Tesla?
He was gonna make a Power transmission tower that received energy for FREE! from the ionosphere, which is continually refueled by the suns radioactive emissions and earths spinning motion, and transmitted through the air to receiving stations. But oh dear, MR Corrupt J.P.Morgan stepped in and shut down the project, wonder why they called em "FreeMasons".

The earths population would be better off with everything for free, because everythings in debt anyway so the system dosn't work and has never worked, kept alive by hush-hush, corruption and lies.

HAHA and now Mr J.P.Morgans bank has a derivatives accumulation of get this - 618times its equity, or 2.5 times the GDP of USA in 1 year, Corporate ***** boys running an unsustainable operation :shoot3: more pathetic than "6 Guns Dubya" global order fascism. Thats an unsustainable corrupted operation, do ya research on how the Nazi's infiltrated their agenda into German parliament. Another circle folks.

So basically, your not even paying your way through life no matter who ya are, your wading in a national debt pool worldwide, deeper than standing height, and the water levels rising fast, all thanks to Corporate Corruption yes indeed!

And wheres the rewards for honest living...a GUTTER thats where, probably with a knife in ya back or a bullet in ya head.

Oh but you can always deal drugs for a quick debt fix folks, now that the Taliban were erased by the Global Order fascist force, good ol Opium is back on the market! YA!! Thanks to team Northern Alliance

"Taliban destroy our opium plantations, please help us fascist global corrupted forces":shoot3:

I'm an Economist Akimbo and I can safely say you don't have a clue.

Money, trade, debt, the whole lot is a system which evolved to allocate scarce resources. If everything was free, everything would either run out or people would die fighting over the limited quantities.

The system as it currently stands evolved from human behaviour. If you believe in live and let die then watch as others behave the same way. If you say "screw the man" then watch as they screw you instead.

Why don't you become the CEO of JP Morgan if all it takes is greed and shortsightedness? Do you personally generate wealth for thousands of other people?

The truth of the matter is a lot of people spent a lot of time and money to develop a piece of software which makes your entire computer do special things. If you don't have the decency to fork out even 1 thin dime for that using product then you are every bit the criminal you paint the corporate thieves to be.

At least they contribute something to society. Have you produced an operating system for us (for free)? Do you drive a car, do you wear designer clothes, do you eat snack foods? Where did they all come from and what motivated people to create and sell them?

Admin... I think you should step in here and close this thread. It was never about a 'computer problem' but rather unsolicited socialist drivel, and between me and you you would do well to look at some of the log on names. This is a public forum and no-one needs to put up with objectionable material.

And future posters don't rabbit on about free speech... Akimbo is damn lucky to be able to do just that BUT not to the detriment of others who enjoy this forum for what it is intended to be.

You paint your hate with a broad brush. This is how dreamers of revolution express their ideas for change. Anyone truely interested in righting percieved wrongs should address each wrong and either offer solutions or solicit others to offer them. When you make broad statements such as to say all corporations are evil, you are spouting philosophy. Pirating is not the answer to fixing what you don't like about MS. The'll do just fine without your money because too many still buy the product. MS, like any company that makes products, needs to make a profit to continue to exist. If you want them to change how they do business, you need to convince others not only to not buy their products, but to use the products of others. If enough people do this, MS needs to then sit back and ask what they need to change to generate new desire among consumers for their product. If large numbers of people just steal their products, they will percieve that the desire for their products is still there and adopt Draconian measures to prevent the stealing. This has negative effects on all users, fueling your dislike of the company even more. It simply creates a vicious circle of adversarial actions and solves nothing.

And I just have to say something about your reference to Tesla. I have a great deal of respect for the man, he was a genious. He did get screwed by Edison, Westinghouse, and others. I wish more of his thoughts and designs had been saved for posterity (would at least make for facinating reading). But few people today believe he could have provided "free" energy with any amount of funding.

i'm not gonna close this just yet.. I want to see it flow a little more..

Akimbo. Do you know how much it actually costs to run a company like MS? They do have a world wide presence, so they have to pay an upkeep for all their facilites, plus keep things up to date, which involves a hell of a lot of equipment. Plus they are constantly expanding, which involves more money still, plus all the R+D... it's just an ever growing thing.

    Yeah let the conversation flow.

It sounds like our friend has read the "Ten planks of the communist manifesto" one too many times. I have visited many forums and websites discussing socialist views and he spouts the same old "mantra" as they all do. They believe that capitalism is the root of every problem in the world today. Global warming, poverty, war, famine, etc., etc., etc. All of the "evil" corporations and business's are out to get you. They just don't seem to understand that these companies generate so much wealth for our economy.

It really boils down to class envy. These people can't stand the people who bust their arses to get ahead and possibly wind up being "well off". They think that they are entitled to a "decent wage" and a "good job". They think that it is a crime that someone can sell something for the price that people are willing to pay. They despise a company that pays a wage based on market demands. They think that it is only "fair" that there be parity in wage levels.

I say keep all that shiznit...........Socialism is a tired, old concept. Labor Union rolls are falling every year. Get with the program and stop whining! : peace2:

Depends if it's a ligit copy of professional.
If you have a copy of home, but you run an 'illegal' copy of Pro, then it's still piracy.
XP Home licences are actually cheaper than '98 ones apparently.
