I have a school site that has 20 new XP Pro machines and a Novell server. Is there a way to allow them to logon with their Novell id/password and have xp always log them in under a generic account. Since they don't have a domain server, I don't want to create local accounts for every user that could logon to the machines. I tried the autologon tweak, but after you login to Novell, it still wants you to logon locally because of the different userid. I'm trying to stay away from the 2 logins.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure about XP, but with 2000 you can set all the accounts to log on as volatile accounts, meaning Novell will create the account and log in, then when you finish and log out it deletes the account from the machine again. You have to set it up as part of a user profile package.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up finding a Novell TID that outlined all the registry entries needed. The TID # is 10052847 if you get bored.
