So do you mean this Memory Model Number?
    G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1600MHz 240-Pin PC3-12800 Desktop Memory F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

    And my power supply is:
    SeaSonic S12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

i really don't have a PSU i can borrow form anyone, and the power supply was purchased in august along with all of the other parts of this build. Here is the link to the memory manufacturers website: http://www.gskill.com/en/series/desktop-memory

Even a brand new power supply can have problems.
Your SeaSonic S12II 620 is an excellent psu that has been around for a long time.
Seasonic power supplies are my first choice.
Your memory kit is listed in G.Skill's website as compatible with your Z77X-UD3H motherboard.

Let us know the results of your additional testing, including a shutdown test where you use only two memory modules.

We might be able to determine which program is causing the freezing problem.
The cropped attached screen-shot is a process list where the information is sorted by the process names.
If you run the Process Lasso program before you shut down your system, you might be able to take a photo of the screen when your system freezes. You should first save a screen-shot of the sorted process list before you shut down your system.

Naturally this won't work very well if Process Lasso is closed before your system freezes.

You can download a freeware version of the program:
Process Lasso - Automate and optimize process priorities, CPU affinities, power profiles, and more!

No problem, I thought that when your system freezes that you could still see your desktop and that you might be able to see the Process Lasso screen which would show which programs hadn't closed yet.

See what happens when your system is idle and at the desktop for the following tests:
    1. press the Win key and select the Restart option
    2. press the Win key and select the Sleep option
    3. press the Win key and select the Log off option
    4. press the Win key and select the Switch user option

Does your system freeze with any of these options? If yes, which tests?
If your system sleeps successfully, see if your system wakes from sleep without any problems.
If your system does not freeze with the Log off or Switch user options, shut down your system by clicking on the Shut Down icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

Okay, so the system Logs off, Sleeps (and wakes up), and Switches user fine. On the Restart, it freezes again at the blue shutting down screen. Im thinking of throwing it out a two story window, think that would solve the problem? =)
