I have windows 2000 professional installed because I need to log in to the system where I work. Problem is, I'd like to partition my drive so I can use some programs that work with XP. I've been told that I'll have driver nightmares if I do this...Anyone have a take on this.

    Many thanks.

not quite sure what your getting at here.if you want to install XP as a second operating system on a separate partition, there shouldn`t be any problem.

The reason a diamond shines so brightly is because it has many facets which reflect light.

are you running 2K in FAT32 and/or XP in fat32 or NTFS?
I would make them both NTFS and call it a day.
