Angry Windows 10 Upgrade and "There are no Supported Network Devices"

I'm at a complete loss with this error message when I try to reserve a download of Windows 10! I was using the exact same Ralink 802.11n USB Wireless Lan Card when I upgraded my computer that was running Win 7 Home 32-bit. No problem upgrading at all! Unfortunately that computer since had a hard drive crash. Now I have a new (refurbished) computer from Tiger Direct....Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, using the same Ralink wireless Lan Card I have tried to reserve a download and I am getting the above error message. Why? The other network device found in the device manager is the built in "Intel 82566DM-2 GB Network Connection". Why am I having such a hard time upgrading this time? I have ran the Intel Driver Update Utility and the graphics accelerator driver was the only update needed. The Lan card is up to date.

    Thanks

Thanks. Have already been to several boards addressing the same error message. Why would my Wireless Lan not be an issue with an upgrade from Win 7 Home but it is from Win 7 Pro?! That makes no sense.

The first answer from the link I provided might fix the problem:

    The issue has solved.

In general, I reinstalled the WiFi drivers and the GetWindows10 update -

Locate KB3035583 update along "Installed Updates" and Uninstall it.

Now, I performed restart, but I am not sure if it was necessary.

Next, I launched Windows Update and it found the KB3035583 automatically.

Installed it, Restarted, Clicked on the GetW10 icon and voila - "Reserve your W10 free upgrade" bla-bla-bla...
Follow the above steps exactly and see if it works.

Did not change anything.....I still get the error "No Supported Network Devices". I have re-installed the wifi software and removed and re-installed the Get Windows 10 Upgrade (KB3035583). I have nothing different other than a computer running Win 7 Pro vs. Windows 7 Home!! Is there any other way to get the software other than via "Get Windows 10 Upgrade"??

Your original system was running Win 7 Home 32-bit and you had no problem upgrading to win 10.
You current system is a refurbished computer from Tiger Direct and is running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
I don't know why you're getting the error message unless it has something to do with the fact that you have a refurbished computer.

At this point calling Microsoft tech support seems to be only option.
With your permission their tech support can log into your system and they should be able to find out why you are getting the win 10 upgrade error message.

Good luck, let us know if their tech support can fix the problem.
