I have couple of programs that want to access internet once in a while (like SETI@home) that is able to connect to internet, but stays on. Is there a way to add something to task manager or something to disconect?

If you go to your internet options, connections tab, settings, advanced -- you will find an option to disconnect if idle for "X" minutes.

That worked well for me when I was running UD.

    that should work,
But is there a way to make the system disconnect other than that?
