Please direct yourself to this forum's search function. Many people have asked this question before, and maybe you can get some insight from the answers already posted. Here's a link to the search I performed:

    http://forums.tweaktown.com/search.p...der=descending

If that doesn't work, click Search and enter "Windows *key* change".

Be careful if you're running a pirated version of XP, or you might see the attached picture.

In all seriousness though, there are enough threads about activating illegal versions of XP, how to install SP1 on such copies and so forth.

If you can't follow the SP1 Tips 'n' Tricks Guide, or cannot find an answer in one of the literally dozens of threads on this topic (Hint: use the SEARCH function), then unfortunately you're out of luck because new threads on this topic will be closed.

TweakTown doesn't need any legal action against it from Microsoft or others for promoting piracy, and quite frankly if you can't activate a pirated copy, then perhaps it's time you considered actually paying for XP.

Then you should have contacted Microsoft and not tried an illegal key change. I'm afraid your actions seem a bit suspect. There is still time to contact MS.
