    Hi Everyone,

A bit of advice ... I am sick of all these bull**** popup windows that appear when you go to most web sites these days. I run a program on my Win2000 notebook called popup stopper, it works fine on W2K. Doesnt seem to do anything on XP.

Does anyone have a good freeware program that works on XP that will stop the pop ups ?

    Thanks in advance

why use a program, just get yourself a nice fat hosts file and be done with it. there are some good ones out there but i can't rember any of the sites at the moment...i've been using the same one for 6 months...very few pop-ups now
I've gone too far and need to move on!

The best thing I like about it is that ya can just copy the working folder to another PC and then just send a shortcut to the quicklaunch bar and off ya go again (and it's unoffensive in the way it works on any Win9x or NT os). :D
