Here is a fun one for ya...

On a system that I am working with, I have found the Administrative Tools icon under Control Panel to be totally empty. Is there a simple way to restore these tools to their rightful places with a reinstall? I cannot make any changes to system settings and this would occur if I tried to install over the current one.

If not possible, then what is the executable file and location for the drive management tools?

Sounds weird, but the Admin Tools should also be under the System Tools Folder in the menus under Start>All Programs.

Anyway, the tools can each be run by going to Start>Run and typing:

    compmgmt.msc - for Computer Management
    comexp.msc - for Component Services
odbcad32.exe - for Data Sources (OBDC)
    eventvwr.msc - for Event Viewer
secpol.msc - for Local Security Policy
    perfmon.msc - for Performance
    services.msc - for Services

Not sure about sticky Wiggo, I might put some of this useful stuff into a second more broad XP Tweak Guide (i.e. more interface customization, useful tips and tweaks rather than just performance tweaks).

PS - you can just write PI if you want to abbreviate my nick :)
