Well there is somthing wrong with my system and it like to lock up and freeze for no apparent reason at any random time. This mostly happens while playing games.

SO I checked the event viewer and the only error I see after a crash is :
    Application errors:

Perfnet error: Unable to open the Redirector service. Redirector performance data will not be returned. Error code returned is in data DWORD 0.

Perfnet error 2:Unable to open the Server service. Server performance data will not be returned. Error code returned is in data DWORD 0.

    Also this Systerm error:
DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to start the service winmgmt with arguments "" in order to run the server:
    8BC3F05E-D86B-11D0-A075-00C04FB68

Anyone got a clue what it is?

    Wiggo? :D

    Thanks in advance.

Do give him a bit of time to wake up here though as the sun hasn't got much past sunrise here yet. ;)

sorry, my searches have produced nothing useful.

But I can as a courtesy bump this up from the 3rd page of recent posts. I apologize for my inability to do more than that for your PC.

OK let's see what I can contribute here (probably not much since I'm eating lunch right now :))

First of all, have you looked in your Services (Start>Run Services.msc) to see if this Redirector and/or Server services exist? If they do, set them to Automatic.

Next up, I assume Perfnet is a server you're trying to log into. Have you checked to make sure the server access details are as per the provider's instructions?

Look for a service called Winmgmt and see what it's set to.

Basically this is a specific server-related problem and the correct setup information should be provided by them. I don't know much else I can deduce from what you've provided. Sorry :(
