    Is it possible to watch cd movies burned from kazaa on Windows Media PLayer 9.0, or do i need a codec.:afro:
    My rig.....
    AMD 2100
    MSI KT3 ultra 2
    Maxtor 40gig
    Lite-on cd-rw
    256mb Crucial
    A CD drive I ripped off an old Compaq
    2 80mm blue LED fans
    hard drive cooler
    and a window

    That depends entirely on what software was used to encode the movies.
    WMP9 comes with very few codecs, so if you find a movie you can't play, the first thing to do is download one of the divx bundles from www.divx.com.

    Also, another thing to do is not mention warez or where you can get them in this forum. Steer clear of the whole topic to be safe, please.

    As for your question, whatever codec the file requires should be downloaded by WMP automatically when you first try using the file. If it is in DivX format, you'll need the DivX codec by installing it from that site.
