Under the "all programs" part of my winxp start menu, there's a folder for "startup." I tried to get rid of it, but windows won't let me. How do I go about getting rid of this?

Its an important system folder that XP requires. Unless there is some kind of registry hack that I have not heard of I think you are SOL.... Sorry..

You can't get rid of that folder, and don't try to, it's necessary.

If you want to stop programs loading at startup, go to Start>Run and type MSConfig, then look under teh Services and Startup tabs.

More info on this in my WinXP Tweak Guide
