    Glad you found the bad memory.

    As far as HD disk 2....do you have a zip drive?

    That's the name that XP gives to them or a compact flash drive reader...

    kewl that you got that faulty memory, but i m still confused that how come memtest didn't report the faulty memory.
    how did you come to know which chip was faulty and how did you set the jumper settings? I mean the way in you did it.
    It will be helpful for any future user with same kind of problems...:cheers:
