    I got told that the SB live card and the Graphics card should not share a IRQ setting.

    here's the view from System Info,
    Is this OK?

    Don't worry mate - Win2K and WinXP like sticking everything on IRQ11, IRQ steering should take care of it :thumb:

    More worried about "the other prob" at the moment. Tugga has bought lehmann on to bowl, now thats a prob:shoot3:

    well if u have troubles, then have a look at trying the install again and disabling the HAL, because that exact setup in the past has caused me all sorts of nightmares, depending on how new your system is... i have found that the latest P4 mobo's i have been using, along with the latest AMD chipsets, require you to now use the HAL enabled option (normal) for proper functionality of the integrated components...

    But the HAL is only really needed when running the same OS on multiple hardware platforms..... and WinXP (at the moment) only runs on x86, not Alpha or MIPS like NT, so the HAL is really useless ATM :?:
