    Allright then.
Just to be sure; Is the process called system or system.exe?
If it's system.exe you have a trojan, but you probably knew that already.
Have you tried to delete Limewire entirely and cleaning up the registry? Do you have other P2P software running.
Or perhaps you have a lot of services/tasks running?

These guys have the same problem, perhaps on of their solutions will work for you.

Most software infections/instabilities can be fixed with the command format c: but some others do require fdisk as a complete reinstall can not only save time on the fix but also clean out garbage left by old programs which could also be ya ultimate problem (but then I'm use to reloadin' systems, good practise in this little town atm but some are learnin').

Thanks. I ran this and it found quite a few things that I moved into quarantine. That didn't solve my problem but I'm glad to have this now.

I do have a lot of stuff running in the task manager that I'm not sure what it is.

Nosferatu, it is System, not System.exe I'm seeing. I don't want to do a reinstall yet cause I could end up getting the problem as soon as I reinstall all of my software. I'd rather clean up the computer and see if I can find the problem so it doesn't happen again.

I uninstalled Kazaa and Limewire today and my processor is back to normal. Its running around 11% at idle. I've been using both of those for a while so I'm not sure why I just started noticing the problem.

If you want to use Kazaa, use the Lite version http://www.kazaalite.com/
