The real answer to the first asked question is the following: Go to display properties (Right-click on the desktop, properties). Go to the settings TAB and then click on advanced. On the "adapter" tab there is a button called "List all modes". You may select safely 640x480 correctly w/out having to change the driver of the adapter.. I'm not quite sure if this is a feature of my video card driver but as far as I know, this should work for every graphic adapter.

Hey people, don't say "buy a new monitor", it's like saying "damn, I don't know the answer, just buy a new computer"... !!:hammer:

that would've worked as well. But removing the adapter and letting windows re-detect it, did it too. So its all good.
    Thanks for the help tho!

Surely ya can pick up a second hand monitor for that's only a fraction of the age of that thing. :?:

Leave it on too long and it might blow up m8 so be careful there. ;)

i got mine for 10bucks and 6shipping. But I was hunting it down for a month (damn I'm cheap)
I bid on a 2 port by mistake, so I got 2 hehe
But they average in the 30-45range. Depends on which one. There was a good deal on 2 16port ones for less than a 100, but I didnt have cash
Whoever got that one was a happy camper
