    Hello Everyone...

I did a search for this but could not find anything..

When I bring up services.msc it brings up TONS of processes that are running when my computer is on.

Is there a way to tell what you need and what you dont need?

I have 512meg of ram with only a couple of things loading on startup but my computer goes right down to 328 when started.

    Thanks for any help.

    Scott

You should run through the Win XP tweak guide Part 1 which contains service tweaks (http://tweaktown.com/document.php?dT...Id=120&dPage=1) but this site may be of more help to you. www.blackviper.com/winxp/servicecfg.htm

If you don't mind reading a lot and working out what you want and what not, go for BlackViper's guide. its a great guide when it comes for services and you would learn lot about services.

But if you don't want to learn alot and would rather get it over with it as soon as possible then you can chose either PI's guide on tweaktown or technet's guide.
