For the last couple days my computer has been taking up to 50 seconds to shutdown or restart and I have no idea why it is doing that all of a sudden. The only thing I can think of that i've changed is updating my logitech itouch and mouseware drivers. The computer used to shutdown almost immediately. Any ideas as to why it's doing this?

    System specs:
    WinXP Pro
    Abit Bd7II
    P4 2.4ghz
    512 DDR
    WD 80gb hd
    Geforce 4 ti4600
    SB Audigy

    Thanks for any info,

You seem to be having an application hanging at the time of shutdown.

    Thanks.

Turns out that the itouch drivers must have installed incorrectly. Uninstalled then reinstalled them and XP is now shutting down fast again.
