Thread: Windows (XP Pro.Sp1) shuts down

    My windows shuts down and reboots whenever it feels like it. In games and everywhere. :confused:
    Why is this happening please help my sorry n00b ass

    what are your system specs? there could be tons of reasons behind this happening.
    heat...driver related trouble...hardware problem...anything!!!!

    go to control panel --> system --> advanced tab
    click on settings under "Start up and recovery". now under system failure, uncheck all the the check boxes.
    now whenever you will have a error u will see a Blue Screen explaining the error. note the error down and post it here.

    btw wat made this happen? i mean any changes that you made to the system?

    for my experiences, most of the time it caused by u tweak too much on your machine by using kinds of programs such as PowerPack 2003, Tweak-XP Pro and PCMedik.

    any of those might issued reboot quite often.

    finally, i set all the tweak back to the default and uninstall all of them, after that, it came back to normal yo:thumb:
